Call For Papers

We are delighted to be now accepting presentation submissions for the 26th Dynamic Econometrics Conference, taking place at the Oxford Martin School, University of Oxford between 3 - 5 April 2024.

Paper Submissions.

The Scientific Organisers seek submissions of full Papers only. 

 

Submissions comprising only Abstracts will not be considered. 

 

All contributed - paper and poster sessions will be in person. Contributed - paper and keynote presentations will be live-streamed.

The 26th Dynamic Econometrics Conference will celebrate Prof. Sir David F. Hendry's 80th birthday and will focus on topics to which David himself has made pivotal contributions.  The Scientific Committee, therefore actively seeks submissions in the following fields of research:

 

  • Empirical economic modelling

  • Macro-econometrics

  • Climate econometrics and forecasting

  • Econometrics software

​

The Conference will also include presentations by several invited keynote speakers, who will highlight David's influence on their own research and on the profession.

​

The Conference will again feature "Speed Sessions" dedicated to presentations given by current PhD candidates or those who have obtained their PhD qualification within the last 12 months.  The scientific committee welcomes submissions for consideration.  Each Speed Presentation will be allocated a total of 10 minutes (including questions), and there will be a prize of £250.00 from The Centre of Econometric Analysis, Bayes Business School and a perpetual license of OxMetrics 9 software awarded to the best presentation selected by the Scientific Committee.  Please indicate if you would like your paper to be considered for the Speed Session when submitting it.

The Scientific Committee will also consider poster presentations.
